They learn about energy and design supporting our life and bring up mechanical engineer challenging original "manufacturing".
Our everyday lives are supported by all kinds of machines, including automobiles, airplanes, satellites, industrial machines, home electronics, and artificial organs. In the Department of Mechanical Engineering, students study the principles and mechanisms of these machines as well as their design, processing, and safety properties. In their third year of study, students are divided into two majors, the Eco-Energy Course (specializing in ecological energy) or MechanoDesign Course (specializing in mechanical design), where they develop the ability to solve environmental, energy-related, and social problems from an engineering perspective.

- Shinjuku- first and second years
- Hachioji- third and fourth years
- Depending on a laboratory, the laboratory at the time of a fourth grader may be the Hachioji campus.
